India`s top Minister says economy will bounce back soon |
India`s Minister for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Roads and Highways Nitin Gandkari said in a media interaction that India has a resilient economy and the stimulus package for COVID-19 worked out by the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was significant, enough and very India specific to boost the economy and put it back on track. Gadkari was confident that the sector that employs 110 million people, contributes to 29% of GDP and 48% of exports will bounce back and contribute US$ 2 trillion to the projected US$ 5 trillion economy target by 2024-25.
