Bollywood young actor icon Sushant Singh commits suicide
Sushant Singh Rajput is described as one of Bollywood`s most promising young lads with a poisonous smile and a stunning personality. In shocking news to his fans and the film industry, he was found dead on 14th June in his home in Mumbai by committing suicide as he hanged himself from a ceiling fan. He was 34 years of age. His body was found in his flat, according to the police it looks like a suicide and that an investigation is underway. Sushant started as a TV actor and made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with director Abhishek Kapoor in “Kai Po Che," based on the book by Chetan Bhagat. Social media was flooded with condolences for the actor, with many reacting to the news with disbelief. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted “Sushant Singh Rajput...a bright young actor gone too soon, he excelled on TV and in films. His rise in the world of entertainment inspired many and he leaves behind several memorable performances. Shocked by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family and fans. Om Shanti.” Bollywood star Akshay Kumar wrote on Twitter “Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless." “I can`t believe this at all... it`s shocking... a beautiful actor and a good friend... it`s disheartening” said actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. “It pains us to share that Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us,” the family statement read.
