Sonakshi Sinha starrer comedy-drama `Khandaani Shafakhana` failed to draw audiences to the theatres as the film is collecting miserably at the box office. Incessant rains and heavy security due to Kashmir issue has also kept the movie buffs away from the theatres. The film which saw a dull opening day and a below par weekend is struggling on the weekdays. The film explores the taboo topic of sex and is touted as the only sex film for the whole family. The film also marks the big-screen debut of singer-rapper Badshah.On Monday, the film has raked in a total of Rs 35 lakh on its fourth day at the box office. The collection of the film on Monday dropped 55% from the opening day. On Tuesday it collected 30 lakh only. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 3.50 crore in five days at the box office. Lack of sex education among the general masses is the issue that the film tries to highlight. Sonakshi plays a young woman, named Baby Bedi, who inherits a sex clinic run by her uncle. She decides to use this opportunity to bring about a change in the society.The Shilpi Dasgupta directorial also stars Varun Sharma, Annu Kapoor, and Priyanshu Jora in pivotal roles.
