Friday saw the release of two big ticket films. The more intriguing of the two was Street Dancer 3D starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The story revolves around two dance groups in London. One group, comprising NRIs, is led by Sahej played by Varun Dhawan and the other with Pakistani teammates is headed by Inayat played by Shraddha Kapoor. From Sachin-Jigar and Tanishq Bagchi to Badshah and Guru Randhawa, you`ll find one song by every composer in this film. Street Dancer 3D is enjoyable only if you like dance but nothing else. On the other hand is Kangana Ranaut starrer Panga. Rooted in the real world, Panga features a glamorised Kangana Ranaut in the role of a retired kabaddi player who returns to the sport after a seven-year hiatus and inevitably runs into a series of challenges. Panga scores handsomely for the manner in which the crucial kabaddi sequences are mounted and choreographed. Rarely do sports scenes in Hindi cinema look as natural they do in Panga. The role fits Kangana to absolute perfection and there isn`t a single false note in her performance. Sensitive and riveting at once, Panga is a film not to be missed.
