India Couture Week organised by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has turned a new leaf this year by redefining how runway style is perceived to relentlessly innovating Indian couture techniques,. The 12th edition of this mega event is going on at Taj Palace hotel in the National Capital New Delhi. The high-glam extravaganza opened with beautifully curated off-site shows by designers Amit Aggarwal and Suneet Varma. It was followed by an array of designers such as Falguni & Shane Peacock, Pankaj & Nidhi, Rahul Mishra, Reynu Taandon and Shyamal & Bhumika. Actress Kiara Advani graced the ramp at the opening show wearing a red-coloured quintessential bridal lehenga. Kiara walked the ramp as the showstopper for ace designer Amit Aggarwal with his collection called `Lumen`. Actress Aditi Rao Hydari made a stellar appearance on the third day of the FDCI India Couture Week 2019 on Wednesday. She looked ravishing in a billowy, off-shoulder icy pink blouse and shiny golden skirt as she walked the ramp as showstopper for couture debutant Pankaj and Nidhi. The actress, glammed up in nude makeup and sleek hairdo, wearing a statement neck piece. Model-turned-actress Kriti Sanon got nostalgic while walking the ramp on Thursday. The "Luki Chuppi" star was the showstopper for designer duo Shyamal and Bhumika.
