Bollywood had an early morning sad newson october 7, 2017. The Indian film fraternity lost an ace filmmaker Kundan Shah who breathed his last at his Mumbai residence. The filmmaker, aged 69, died after suffering a heart attack. It was Kundan Shah who tried to transmit his Chaplinesque idealism and the Tramp`s tragicomic persona on Shah Rukh Khan with `Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa` and used him as if he was his very own Raj Kapoor. He gave Indian cinema and television the gift of satirical comedy. He directed movies like `Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro`, `Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa`, `Kya Kehna`, and `Dil Hai Tumhara`. `Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro` brought him the prestigious National Film Award. The industry`s whos who were among others who mourned Kundan Shah`s untimely passing away.
