Sigh of relief for Bollywood |
Clash averted between John Abraham`s `Parmanu` and Anushka Sharma`s `Pari` Bollywood will have a sigh of relief. After a series of unfortunate delays, actor John Abraham has reportedly postponed the release of `Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran` yet again. The actor, who is co-producing the film, has bowed out of a box-office clash with the Anushka Sharma starrer `Pari`. Latest reports suggest that the film will not hit theatres on May 2, thus giving Anushka a solo run at the box-office. The reason behind this delay is believed to be because the producers of the John and Diana Penty starrer are also backing `Pari`. Initially set to release on December 8, 2017, the film rescheduled its release to February to avoid clashing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s `Padmaavat`, and rescheduled once again to May 2 to avoid sharing the box-office business. Those looking forward to seeing this film based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998, will have to wait a bit longer for an official statement from the producers.
