JAGAME THANDHIRAM, the Dhanush starrer is gearing up for a release on the popular OTT platform, Netflix. The teaser of the film was released on 22nd February. Netflix has bagged the exclusive streaming rights of the Karthik Subbaraj directorial. The highly anticipated Karthik Subbaraj directorial is slated to be released by the end of February or the beginning of March 2021. JAGAME THANDHIRAM features “Game Of Thrones” fame James Cosmo as the lead antagonist. Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sanchana Natarajan play the female leads opposite Dhanush. The film stars Dhanush in the role of a gangster. In the teaser, Dhanush can be seen with a handlebar moustache. It is said that Dhanush will be seen in this look in the flashback portion of the movie. The project, which marks the maiden collaboration of Dhanush and Karthik has been mostly shot in London apart from a few other places in the UK. Earlier the makers were eyeing a theatrical release on February 12. But surge in COVID-19 cases led to the decision of releasing the film on digital platform. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the songs and original score. Shreyas Krishna and Nijai Gowthaman are the DOPs. Vivek Harshan has handled the editing. The Dhanush starrer is produced by the popular banner Y Not Studios.
