Trailer launch of Article 15 |
Following the tremendous response for the teaser of Anubhav Sinha`s new film Article 15, the makers of the film has released its trailer. The movie, which is based on the Article 15 of the Indian Constitution which prohibits discrimination on the grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth, has the audience waiting for its release. The plot is said to be based on the infamous 2014 Badaun gang-rape. Two Dalit girls after being gang-raped and murdered are found hanging from a tree in a village, while their sister is missing. Ayushmann Khurrana plays a role of police officer, Ayan, who is searching for one of the three sisters and during his investigation he unravels the deep-rooted caste discrimination in the system. Other than Ayushmann Khurrana, the movie stars Sayani Gupta, Isha talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, M Nassar, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subhrajyoti Barat and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub who have seemed to have put up a powerful act in the film. The film is going to hit the silver screen on 28th of june.
