BJP to hold virtual rallies on anniversary of Modi 2.0 |
India`s reigning political party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold virtual rallies across India and organise over 1,000 conferences online to mark the 1st year anniversary of their second term in office. In a communication to state units and other senior office-bearers, BJP General Secretary Arun Singh said all big state units will hold at least two virtual rallies and smaller units will hold one adding that over 750 people should attend each of these programmes. The events will begin on the 30th of May. Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the world`s most popular leader, the party said the government in the first year of its second term also called Modi 2.0 has fulfilled people`s decades-long aspirations and dreams. BJP talks about the past year as full of historic achievements - nullification of Article 370, bringing law against triple talaq and clearing the path for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. BJP said that all these achievements will be written in golden letters in history. In the communication, the party asked its members to inform the masses about Modi government`s work to combat COVID-19 and told them to carry a letter penned by the Prime Minister about his resolve to make `Atmanirbhar Bharat` to 100 million families.
