Cong-DMK finalize seat sharing in Tamil Nadu for LS polls |
After the BJP and AIADMK pact in the southern state of tamil nadu yesterday, Congress and DMK has also announced their pre poll alliance in the state. Ahead of formal trumpeting of poll bugles, the DMK and Congress have sealed pre-poll pact in Tamil Nadu for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. DMK chief MK Stalin announced that the Congress will be contesting ten parliamentary seats – nine from Tamil Nadu and one from Puducherry. Stalin told media that the total number of seats that DMK will be contesting will be revealed after talks with other alliance partners. The number is pegged between 20 and 25 seats. Only a few days ago, BJP and AIADMK have entered into an alliance for the Lok Sabha polls for the centre and Vidhan Sabha by-polls for the state assembly.
