After the Indian Air Force`s Strike at the Terror Outfits in Pakistan, A new political row emerged after the opposition parties acrimonious debated over the terrorists death toll in Balakot. Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, acrimonious debate has ensued between Congress, other Opposition parties and BJP leaders over Indian air Force air strikes across the borders and follow up on deaths of terrorists. Amid opposition demands for an account of the impact of the air strikes, conflicting remarks have come from the Air Force, the BJP and the government, triggering a controversy. Quoting international media reports that there was no major damage, former Union minister Kapil Sibal had sought details from the government through a tweet on Monday but he was rebuffed by Union information and broadcasting minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh also questioned govt`s credibility for not providing proof & number of deaths.
