Electioneering intensifies for 4th phase ecections on April 29 |
After the voting ended for the 3rd phase of elections in India, all major political parties have intensified electioneering for the 4th phase which goes to poll on April 29th. The 3 phases of the elections has already sealed the fate of about 2000 candidates. The 4th phase will see voting for 71 constituencies, spread over nine states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a rally at Lohardaga in Jharkhand, said that his government has never discriminated on the basis of religions or castes and tried to secure justice for every Indian citizen in distress. Congress leader and incharge of East region of the state of Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra held public meetings at Khaga and Gazipur of Fatehpur constituency. Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed rallies at Lakhimpur Kheri, Kanpur and Unnao. He said Congress is the only party that can alleviate sufferings of farmers and unemployed youth. The congress president also elaborated on the benefits of Nyay scheme. Bahujan Samaj party Chief Mayawati addressed a poll meeting at Ramaipur area of Kanpur Nagar district.
