Indian cricket team beat West Indies by a thumping margin of 257 runs to win the second Cricket Test and clinch the caribbean series 2-0. Chasing a mammoth victory target of 468 runs set by India, West Indies were all out for 210 in their second innings on the penultimate day of the Test at Kingston Jamaica. India produced a top-notch bowling performance to demolish West Indies as the series victory put them on top of ICC World Test Championship points table. For India, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami claimed three wickets each in the second innings. The first innings exploits were bagged by pacer Jasprit Bumrah who destroyed the West Indies batting lineup. He took his maiden hat-trick in Test cricket, and completed his fifth 5-wicket haul in the format. Bowling his sixth over in the match, he removed opener Kraigg Brathwaite for 10 to become the quickest Indian pacer to take a five-wicket haul (in 5.5 overs) after first coming on to bowl. India`s victory was 28th in Tests for Virat Kohli making him the most successful Indian captain in the traditional format of the sport.
