India e-commerce rivalry during festival |
India`s e-commerce giants have unleashed a sales rivalry to capture potentially tens of millions of Dollars of transaction during the upcoming festival season. Flipkart announced the `Big Billion Days” sale. Right after the announcement, Amazon came up with the “Great Indian Festival” sale. The sales clash between e-commerce giants will benefit consumers. Amazon is expected to discount for more than 200 thousand products. Amazon is expected to offer 10 per cent instant discount on purchases from partner bank HDFC`s debit card and credit cards, and EMI payments using HDFC bank. Consumers could avail of no-cost EMI of up to Rs 1 hundred thousand on their Debit and Credit cards via Bajaj Finserv. Also, users will get an exchange offer where they can exchange their old devices for up to Rs 25,000 discount. The sale includes amazing deals on electronics, mobiles and accessories, toys, gaming, appliances, TVs, Amazon Echo/ Kindle/ Fire TV products, fashion, and many more. Live every year, the sale will start for Amazon Prime subscribers only. However, the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale dates have not been announced but are expected to begin in October.
