India`s first Corporate Train flagged off |
Chief Minister of Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath on Friday flagged off India`s first corporate train known as the Tejas Express which will run between Lucknow and Indian capital New Delhi. Apart from offering passengers a more comfortable and fastest ride experience between Lucknow and Delhi, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, which is operating the train, has introduced several firsts in terms of service standards, ticket reservation, cancellation, refund and travel insurance. The Tejas Express is India`s first fully corporate run train and will run 6 days a week with advance coaches having tea-coffee vending machines, call bell and toilet indicator facilities and High-quality food and beverages will be provided to passengers. The commercial run of the train will start from Saturday. Indian government also launched new breed Vande Bharat Express on Thursday. The Vande Bharat Express also known as Train 18 will run on the Delhi-Katra route. Indian Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah launching the train said, "Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express is a big gift for Jammu and Kashmir`s development and for promoting religious tourism. He added that Article 370 was the biggest roadblock in Jammu and Kashmir`s development."
