India signs 3 MOUs with Chile |
India and Chile have signed three MoUs for cooperation in the fields of mining, culture and empowerment of persons with disabilities. The agreements were signed during Indian President Ram Nath Kovind`s visit to Chile. The agreements aim to further enhance engagement in economic, social and cultural fields between the two countries. Chile is the sixth largest trading partner of India in the South America. Speaking after a brief talk with his Chilean counterpart, President Kovind said that India and Chile have agreed to work together to strengthen the global response to defeat and destroy terrorism in all its forms. He said that both India and Chile are committed to further strengthening of the economic partnership. President Kovind is in Chile on the last leg of his three nation tour. He visited Bolivia and Croatia earlier this week before arriving in Chile.
