Indo-Kazakh Business Council formed |
Central Asia`s biggest and resource-rich country, Kazakhstan, has set up a Coordinating Council for attracting foreign investments including from India. The main goals of the council included Expansion of, development of business contacts, collaboration between Kazakhstan and Indian entrepreneurs. Promotion of Kazakhstan business in India and Indian business in Kazakhstan; support of rights and legal interest of Kazakhstan-Indian entrepreneurs their inter relations with Kazakh and Indian official and commercial structures Joining efforts and arrangement of developing the business community of Kazakhstan and India, interested in the improvement of Kazakhstan-Indian business collaboration. In order to coordinate and efficiently interact with investors, as well as provide solutions to current problems, it was decided to lay the functions of Investment Ombudsman under the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. Also, a Coordinating Council for attracting foreign investment will be created and chaired by the head of government.
