Modi slams Cong & DMK for not meeting local aspirations |
India can progress only if regional aspirations are met, asserted the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, He said the NDA Govt. gives due regard to regional ambitions while addressing a mega rally organized by the NDA partners in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. Announcing the renaming of the Central Railway Station after iconic star MG Ramchandaran, Modi recalled the legacy of the AIADMK founder and unveiled his statue at Dr. MGR Janaki College of Arts & Science for Women in Chennai through a video link. He also lashed out at Congress and DMK, saying their alliance has no plan of action to take the nation forward. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while visiting Kalaburagi in Karnataka and Kancheepuram in Tamil Nadu also launched various development projects at both the places. At Kalaburagi, PM launched development projects in various sectors like Energy, Health and Education for the benefit of the people of Karnataka. At Kancheepuram in Tamil Nadu, Prime Minister unveiled the multiple projects in roadways, railways and energy sector. These projects will further strengthen the roadway and railway infrastructure in the state. It will also pave way for better, faster and cheaper transportation for people in Tamil Nadu.
