Modi slams Rahul after SC notice |
The Supreme Court of India has issued a notice to Indian National Congress President Rahul Gandhi over mis-quoting the court`s order, when he remarked against PM Narendra Modi on the Rafale Deal stating that the court has accepted that `chowkidaar` is a `chor`. According to the court, it has not passed any remark against the Prime Minister, so Rahul Gandhi`s statements are wrong. The court has asked Rahul Gandhi to reply on or before next Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said Congress president Rahul Gandhi had made false allegations against him on the Rafale deal. Speaking on a wide range of subjects from agrarian distress to BJP`s electoral prospects, the prime minister said his government would transfer 107.8 billion Dollars through direct benefit transfer scheme into bank accounts of farmers within 10 years if the BJP managed to hold on to power.
