Within two days of taking the charge of the office the Newly appointed ambassador to the United States, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, presented his credentials to the U.S. President Donald Trump. India`s new ambassador to the United States, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, on Friday presented his credentials to the United States President Donald Trump, just two days after arriving in the US capital. It is a good signal for the Indo-US relations, as it is a rare occurrence, given the busy schedule of the Oval office. It was the first time that any Indian ambassador was so quickly scheduled for the formal ceremony at the Oval office. Usually the wait for such a ceremony can be around two to four months. The White House and the state department, bunch together some new ambassadors before putting them on the President`s schedule. According to diplomatic observers, this prompt action was a good sign and shows the importance US is giving to its ties with India. President Donald Trump was a bundle of positivity about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India-US partnership.
