With Successful extradition of the 57 year old British Businessman Christian Michel, the alleged middleman in the multimillion-dollar Agustawestland helicopter deal is proving to be a gamechanger for the Ruling Bhartiya Janta Party. Christian visited India more than 25 times during the deal. He has been produced in the Patiala house court yesterday and has been handed over to the CBI for further investigation. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also raised the issue duringone of his election rallies in Rajasthan on Wednesday and targeted Congress. The Congress, which was in power when the controversial deal took place and was scrapped, called the allegations part of a ``smear campaign``. Congress faced embarrassing moments when a youth congress member and lawyer ALJO Joseph appeared for MICHEL in a Delhi court. This raised a political storm and CONGRESS expelled the youth leader from the party.
