Pakistan bans Jamat-un-Dawa after India`s efforts |
In a more than evident stunt by the pakistan Government to shield terrorists on its soil, the Pak govt. Has announced that it had banned the terror outfit Jaish E Mohammed, when it had only put it under a watch list. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday in Islamabad, Interior Secretary Azam Suleman Khan said those arrested would be held for at least 14 days, and will be prosecuted if further evidences were found against them. The detainees included Abdul Rauf, Azhar`s brother, and Hammad Azhar, the Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Masood Azhar`s son. Both names were among the several suspects whose details were included by India in a recent dossier shared with Pakistan following an attack last month in the Pulwama districtt of J & K that martyred more than 40 CRPF personnel. All that has been possible amid India`s continued efforts to isolate Pakistan and increasing global pressure on Islamabad to act against terrorism, the Financial Action Task Force has decided to keep Pakistan in the `grey list` for now. Indian Govt has lobbied hard to blacklist Islamabad over terror funding in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack.
