Software glitch leaves of Air India passengers stranded |
Two days after Air India passengers experienced harrowing time due to technical glitches, passengers at the Indira Gandhi International airport in New Delhi faced tough time on Monday following some technical snags at immigration counters. An Air India official demanding anonymity said that the immigration system server was down for more than 40 minutes since 12.20 am. At around 1 am, crew for three Air India flights were stuck and that no time line was given by immigration authority to resolve the issue. Passengers who were waiting for immigration check, took to twitter handle to air there woes and said there has been a long delay due to server issues. Many posted pictures of long queues. To clear building up rush on the immigration counters, manual operations were conducted and public was informed of the issue on the public address system.
