Varun Chakravarthy, an architect turned cricketer of Indian state of Tamil Nadu and Jaydev Unadkat were bought for a whopping 1.2 million dollars each in Indian Premier league auction in Jaipur on Tuesday. While Rajasthan Royals bought Unadkat, Chakravarthy joins Kings Eleven Punjab for the 2019 VIVO IPL. Varun is a mystery spinner from Tamil nadu, having as many as seven variations up his sleeve. Many prominent cricketers, including Cheteshwar Pujara, Morne Morkel, Hashim Amla and Angelo Mathews remained unsold when reports last came in. Sam Curran was bought by Kings Eleven for 1.02 million dollars Axar Patel, Mohit Sharma and Shivam Dube were bought for 713 thousand dollars each. Bengal cricketer, Prayas Ray Barman became the youngest millionaire at the tender age of 15. Royal Challengers Bangalore roped in the youngster for 214 thousand dollars. Surprisingly, Indian world cup winning star Yuvraj Singh was bought by Mumbai Indians for just 142.5 thousand dollars.
