The biggest fair in the world now will be the battling ground for telecom industries. The Kumbh Mela 2019 will be held between January 15 and March 4 at Prayagraj, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. India`s telecom giants, Vodafone, Jio, and Airtel are chasing the devotees planning to visit the Kumbh Mela this year. These telecom companies have come up with new services, as it is the best time to connect and build with the customer. The new apps and services include live streaming of the mela, virtual tour of Kumbh, RFID to trace the people in case they lose contact, app for real-time travel information, emergency help lines and area routes. The biggest Telecom operator like Vodafone will be distributing RFID technology for devotees especially for children and senior citizen so they can be traced. Whereas Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio Infocomm will launch Kumbh Channel on Airtel TV app and Jio TV app respectively. Jio has also come up with several services for pilgrims via its 4G-feature phone, which will update about the event, emergency services, routes, TV and apps. India`s biggest fair for devotees` hope will become easier for people to communicate now.
