India concern at ISIS in Af-Pak region |
The Indian security establishment has raised heightened concern at the presence of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the Af-Pak region, and the activities of Wilayat Khurasan (WK) including their links with the Pakistani establishment. India`s external intelligence agency RAW has reported to the Prime Minister`s Office (PMO) that WK`s military leader Asmatullah Muawiya, formerly linked to Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and al Qaida, have made peace with the Pakistan army in 2014 and threatened India in the recent times. Reports said that a former Guantanamo Bay detainee, who was shifted to Pakistan`s custody in 2008, Abdul Rahim Muslim Dost, had been appointed as WK`s religious head and a judge.
