India`s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Nov 2 spoke to his Nepalese counterpart KP Oli and expressed concern at the killing of an Indian due to police firing at the India-Nepal border and sought details on the incident.A 19-year-old Indian was killed as Nepal police opened fire on people demonstrating against the new Constitution near the India-Nepal border, hours after security forces baton-charged Madhesi protesters and evicted them from a key bridge inthe area in a pre-dawn swoop. Ashish Ram of Raxaul in Bihar was killed as police opened fire on protesters at Shankaracharya Gate near Birgunj Customs. Soon, India summoned Nepal ambassador Deep Kumar Upadhyaya to raise concerns over the firing incident. Earlier, the MEA expressed `deep concern` at the developments in Nepal.
