Diversity is India`s strength, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted as he urged the country`s diaspora to become an integral part of its growth story. Amid intermittent shouts of "Modi, Modi," the Indian leader dispelled concerns over alleged intolerance in the countrysaying, there is a very deep and best India outside TV screen.Addressing a huge, enthusiastic gathering of British Indians at the expansive Wembley Stadium in London , Modi said, diversity is its pride and its strength.During his visit, Modi faced a lot of probingquestions over intolerance from the British media, adding to protests and return of awards in India by noted personalities in diverse walks of life on account of growing “intolerance” in the country. Referring to his 18-month-old government, Modi said India`s stature had risen in the world and said the diaspora must also be recognizing it. This change is the sign of India`s success. Today when India talks, it does from a position of equality, he said.The world`s confidence in India was rising.
