Christchurch terror attack: 2 from Telangana succumb to injuries |
The victims are Farhaj Ahsan, a 31-year-old techie, and Mohammed Imran Khan, a restaurateur from Karimnagar. The Christchurch mosques attack in New Zealand claimed the lives of two persons from the State after it came to light on Saturday that they succumbed to injuries. The website familylinks.icrc.org, run by International Committee of the Red Cross and National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies had reported both as `missing`. A pall of gloom descended on Mr. Khan`s Civil Hospital Road residence in Karimnagar town. He moved to New Zealand in 2002 and was running a hotel business.He married a New Zealand resident and was blessed with a son. His father Masood Ahmed Khan is an NRI and lives in USA, and had passed away last year. He owns properties in Karimnagar town. The locals said Mr. Khan`s funeral would be performed in New Zealand.
