An industrial town near the moving-fast-forward city of Indore in Madhya Pradesh state of India celebrated International Women`s Day by dedicating it to Menstrual Health and Hygiene. Priti Keer took the bold leap of faith to start Priti Enterprises that installed and inaugurated an amazing machine by Aakar Innovations, a technology Innovation leader hailed in Hon Prime Minister and NitiAayog`s list of `Champions of Change` in India. The machine makes India`s and perhaps Asia`s only~100% compostable sanitary napkin. Aakar has won accolades globally and installed 40 such machines empowering women and self help groups in India, South Asia and Africa. Social entrepreneur and PIO TV Chairman Munish Gupta joined Aakar and Prit Enterprises for a wonderful event on 8 March 2018 to launch `Anandi Eco` pads. The machine was inaugurated by the Honourable MLA from Devas H.H. Mrs Pawar and Gupta. They said it was most delightful to see genuine pleasure and smiles on the faces of 35 women trained by Priti Enterprises and Aakar Innovations to operate the machines as a self help group and make the pads. The Guests of Honour also felicitated young and old women for sports and community service achievements as well as others.
