Apple exported Rs 1.5 lakh crore worth iPhones from India during 2024-25, Indian Minister for Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) Ashwini Vaishnaw Ashwini Vasihnaw said. He said Apple India will further expand operations due to the ongoing the US-China tariff standoff. Apple’s strategy is driven by the fact that US duties are much lower on India-made smartphones. Apple IPhone from Tamil Nadu based Foxconn is credited with India’s 50 per cent of exports. Foxconn exports jumped over 40 per cent jump compared to the previous previous financial year.
