Caribbean countries call India a caring nation |
In a rare display of unity, the 14 independent CARICOM states on 17th February 2021 insisted on the equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. The resolution adopted by acclamation by all 34 countries of the Organization of American States (OAS) praised India for its outstanding support to developing countries by offering initial COVID-19 vaccine-free and also on a priority basis. The resolution was presented by Antigua and Barbuda`s Ambassador, Sir Ronald Sanders, who spoke to PIO TV from Washington, DC.
