Gujarat gets US$ 125 m new dairy projects |
To boost rural economy, empower local farmers and milk producers, Prime Minister Modi on 28th July inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple projects at Sabar Dairy in Gujarat state`s Sabarkantha district. This is said to increase income of local farmers. Modi also felicitated beneficiaries of the Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme and top women milk producers. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was among those present on the occasion. Sabar Dairy`s capacity will increase further with the addition of a milk powder plant with modern technology and one more line in the aseptic packing section.
