Air India is soaring higher in the skies with much needed services like now offering WiFi on domestic flights in India starting January 1, 2025. It is complimentary internet access for passengers on select aircraft. It may not be all fun and business only as some skeptics fear there will be people screaming in phones or watching live media or social media with high volumes. For others especially business travellers and even tourists the Air India offering is exciting even if limited to select aircraft, including the Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9, and certain A321 neo models. Air India becomes the first carrier in the country to offer in-flight Wi-Fi on domestic routes. Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India, saidcConnectivity is now an integral part of modern travel. The in-flight Wi-Fi will also allow passengers to connect multiple devices simultaneously while cruising above 10,000 feet.
