“Raksha Bandhan” starring Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth and Deepika Khanna is all set for a theatre release August 11th. The film has been co-produced by Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna and will face a box-office clash with Aamir Khan`s “Laal Singh Chaddha”. “Raksha Bandhan” introduces four promising actresses who are seen playing the role of Kumar`s sisters in the film. Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the film shows how a brother dedicates his life to his sisters, even keeping his own love story and marriage in the back seat. While Akshay plays the role of the devoted brother, Bhumi Pednekar is seen as his love interest. Written by Himanshu Sharma & Kanika Dhillon, “Raksha Bandhan” was one of the most awaited films of the year.
