Film WAR crosses Rs 300 cr mark
Bollywood hunks Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer `War` has been soaring high since its release. The movie has managed to cross the Rs 300 crore-mark in the domestic market and became the first film this year to reach the mark. The Siddharth Anand-directorial, crossed the Rs 300 crore-mark in just 19 days. The total collection of the action-entertainer, which hit the screens on October 2, now stands at Rs 301.75 crore nett which includes Rs 287.90 crore nett for Hindi version, while Rs 13.85 crore nett for the Tamil and Telugu version. `War` is the third film produced by Yash Raj Films to cross the Rs 300 crore-mark in India after Salman Khan`s `Tiger Zinda Hai` in 2017 and `Sultan` in 2016. Director Siddharth said that It has been simply phenomenal to receive this kind of love and adulation from audiences. `War` was made with the hope to give India its biggest original action spectacle and the entire team is ecstatic to get the desired result at the box office. When you have two of the biggest action superstars in your film, you would want your film to over deliver on audience expectations and make a big statement. We are overwhelmed that `War` has become a must-watch film for the entire country. It is a moment to treasure and celebrate for all of us.
