Housefull 5 trailer is out and promises to raise rhe laughter quotient of India. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar leads with a major star cast of Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan. The fifth edition of the comedy franchise is set on board a luxury cruise with a murder mystery twist. The three top stars in the film make a claim to be Jolly, the rightful heir of a 100-year-old billionaire. Veteran actor Ranjeet plays the billionaire. The three Jolly contenders show up with their respective partners, and what follows is a comedy and chaos of mistaken identities, wife swapping, and even a murder. Comedian Johnny Lever adds to slapstick fun. Other known Bolkywood stars in Housefull 5 are Fardeen Khan, Chitrangda Singh, Chunky Pandey, and Dino Morea. Yesteryear top stars add to the intrigue as Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt play investigating officers trying to untangle the web of lies and secrets surrounding the murder. Veteran star Nana Patekar makes the plot multilayered. Housefull 5 is co-written and directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. The film releases on June 6, 2025.
