Kesari Chapter 2 teaser: Akshay Kumar as tough lawyer slams British for Jallianwala massacre
Teaser of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar-starrer `Kesari Chapter 2` depicts him playing a stern lawyer talking tough to the British after the heinous Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Dharma Productions shared the more than one and a half minute video teaser on Eid Day 31 March 2025. The teaser opens with ghastly screams of women and men as they fled for their lives in the horrendous massacre by the British of innocent Indian protestors in the Jallianwala Bagh. It shows the Golden Temple in 1919. Akshay plays a tough lawyer in a court presided over by a British judge. In the teaser, the judge tells him outside the court quote “Don`t forget you`re still a slave of the British Empire” end wyote. Akki snaps back with the four letter expletive starting with the letter F you! `Kesari Chapter 2` teaser has built up a fast and furious Dan`s base. A fan says Akki is living the role! One said the film is more powerful than Kesari chapter 1.
The much awaited `Kesari Chapter 2` film will hit the theatres on April 18. It also stars Ananya Panday and R Madhavan. On Instgaram, Akshay shared the teaser with the lines about his character saying quote "He held his head high. He beat them at their game. He told them where to go. A genocide India must know about. A revolution painted in courage" end quote. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place on April 13, 1919. A large crowd had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Punjab`s Amritsar to protest against the Rowlatt Act and the arrest of pro-Indian activists Saifuddin Kitchlew and Satyapal. The British General surrounded the people with the Gurkha and Sikh infantry regiments. He then ordered them to shoot at the crowd which continued till the ammunition almost finished. Thousands of people were killed and injured.
