Mahesh Babu to re-release POKIRI on 47th birthday |
On the occasion of his 47th birthday on August 9, superstar Mahesh Babu`s fans have decided to mark the special day with a special screening of his 2003 romantic action drama “Pokiri”. The show`s collection will be donated to help children`s heart operations and also for the education of poor kids through the MB Foundation. Special shows of “Pokiri” are being organized across various regions in the Telugu states and the US on August 9. The response for the same has been phenomenal. Pokiri is the story of a wayward yet no-nonsense goon Pandu, who falls in love with fitness instructor Shruti. Their love life falls apart when the former resists her advances. Later, Pandu locks horns with a notorious don.
