Bollywood is emerging from 18 months of COVID-19 meltdown with some super hits. Telugu superstar Naga Chaitanya`s latest `Love story` waited for over a year since the first scheduled release on April 2, 2020. The film finally released in theatres on September 24, 2021. Box office collections stand at a whopping Rs 100 million worldwide. The biggest surprise is from the Nizam Release Centres of around Rs 35 million on Day 1. With a strong word of mouth and the weekend, the ticket sales were huge. The film may be the biggest opener in India post the second Covid wave and had magical release at the USA premieres and regular shows on Day 1. This could provide the needed oxygen for other filmmakers to dare release their films in theatres before going for direct OTT streaming. The film has a major star cast to pull the audiences. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are receiving great appreciation for their performance in the film.
