Now, a biopic on Helen? |
Bollywood is abuzz with reports that star Salman Khan and father Salim Khan are planning to produce a biopic on the life of yesteryear dancer actress Helen. However, Salim Khan recently refuted this, adding that there is no question of a biopic or an autobiography. Salim Khan added that Helen is 80 years old and this is a time when she should live life on her own terms rather than work long hours for biopic. This is to recall that in 1981, Helen married Salim Khan and became his second wife. Cabaret Queen Helen, however, wants actress Deepika Padukone to essay her in her biopic. Incidentally, Helen was a refugee from Burma, who grew up in Mumbai in miserable conditions and began dancing to support her family. Her journey from a dancing diva to Mrs. Salim Khan is worthy of a feature film, and that`s exactly what the Khan family intends to do. Wonder if Deepika would agree to work with Salman Khan as until now they have never worked together.
