Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s `Padmaavat` has been mired in controversy ever since the release of its first trailer. However, this new teaser is ample proof that Rani Padmavati aka Padmini has fought bigger battles in life and she is not afraid of those seeking bans. The latest teaser has lines that show the director at his poetic best. In the latest, Padukone speaks about Alauddin Khilji`s greatest defeat – not at the hands of the Rajput men but by the incarnations of Devi herself, the women of Chittorgarh. While the makers are gearing up for the release, Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi has threatened to approach the President to demand ban on screening  of `Padmaavat`. `Padmavat` stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor essaying the role of Rani Padmavati aka Padmini, Sultan Alauddin Khilji and Maharawal Ratan Singh, respectively. The film is slated to release on January 25.
