RAID 2 trailer launch, Ajay Devgn enthrals journalists in style
Trailer of Bollywood next big action-thriller “RAID 2” was launched in Mumbai. The movie releases in cinemas on 1st May 2025. Superstar Ajay Devgn was at his jovial best with the journalists at the launch at a multiplex in Mumbai. In attendance were other in cast like Vaani Kapoor and Saurab Shukla, director Raj Kumar Gupta and producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. Riteish Deshmukh, antagonist of the film, couldn’t make it due to certain commitments, but gave comments through those present. Interesting, and for the first time at such a launch, the producers organized a gimmick that worked. The actors and producers made a grand entry at a set up outside. Three videographers among the journalists took a hammer and broke the wall. Standing on the other side was the cast, directors and producers. The promotion paid off in the sense it represented in some way what is done during a typical raid in India to discover and seize money and other things stashed behind walls. Ajay was later asked by journalists in the launch ceremony, what would he do if in a raid he came with a stash of ‘black’ (illegal) money. He quipped in typical Ajay Devgn style, where would the money come from. Devgn added, if the journalist were to send him money, he’d let him know what could be done.
