Indian movie superstar Rajinikanth`s next film, ‘Vettaiyan,’ had at a star-studded audio launch event in Chennai in South India. Excited fans and media thronged the venue for the prevue. Rajinikanth, Ritika Singh, Anirudh Ravichander, Rana Daggubati, and Dushara, attended the audio launch of ‘Vettaiyan.’ This is the third film for acclaimed writer and director, T J Gnanavel, who has two earlier critically praised credits in films Jai Bhim and Kootathil Oruthan. Rajinikanth plays an experienced encounter expert in ‘Vettaiyan’ renowned for his brutality and fearlessness with hardened criminals. But, his mentor, played by the great superstar of superstars Amitabh Bachchan has a different approach. Amitabh plays the character of Sathyadev, who is humanitarian and wants to bring criminals to justice. ‘Vettaiyan’ explores the controversial encounter killings versus human rights of even criminals. Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and many more members are part of the film’s ensemble cast. Character actor, mostly playing a villain, Prakash Raj, has lent his voice for Amitabh Bachchan`s persona. Big B`s lines in this Tamil film are dubbed Prakash Raj. ‘Vettaiyan’ hits cinemas on 10 October 2024.
