As the Producers Guild decided to stop all work in the Indian cinema and television Industry keeping in view the safety and health concerns of all involved, Yash Raj films too is postponing the release of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer `Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar`, which was all set to release on March 20, 2020, after a years delay. Yash Raj Films, the producer of the film, took to Twitter and made the announcement. YRF tweeted, “Given the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country, we have decided to postpone the release of Dibakar Banerjee`s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The health and safety of everyone is of utmost importance at this time.” Arjun Kapoor on Instagram shared the news with fans with a post that read, Now is not the time to be in theatres. Stay safe folks, see you at the movies soon. Meanwhile several big budget Bollywood and Hollywood films releases have been postponed owing to the global coronavirus pandemic. Producers of some of the biggest releases of the year, like Akshay Kmaru starrer Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh starrer 83 has also postponed the releases of their films.
