Country`s biggest fashion event the Lakme India Fashion Week is back. Ace designer rohit bal presented his beautiful kashmir collection name “Gul-dastah” on the first day. The Iconic Lakme Fashion Week`s winter edition is back and this time with a bang. Country`s biggest fashion fiesta started in the Capital on 29th January. The biggest attraction on day one of the Fashion week was the collection from ace fashion designer Rohit bal, who hit the ramp with his Kashmir inspired collection Gul-dastah. Rohit whoi is born in Kashmir paid a fitting tribute to the beauty of kashmir through his designs and a group of Kashmiri women who made it to the spot light. Bal`s collection beautifully captures the scenic beauty of the state known as the paradise on earth. With his creativity rohit certainly has made a point at the fashion week. He says the beauty is akin to “a silver lining in a black cloud, a ray of hope, and a light in the thunderstorm”. “I want people to know that Kashmir may be wartorn, but the beauty of Kashmir will always be a part of a Kashmiri life… By showing this beauty, I want people to understand that there`s always a ray of hope,” said the designer, who showcased a line called `Gul-dastah` at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019.
