Bollywood Filmmaker Karan Johar`s upcoming film `Kalank` has created a buzz among the audience for its impressive star cast consisting of Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Varun and Alia have already started shooting for the film and now Madhuri Dixit began today as  Madhuri has many a scene with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Set in the 1940s, `Kalank` is being produced by Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios, and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Directed by Abhishek Varman, `Kalank` is likely to hit the screens on April 19, 2019. Incidentally, Karan has spent Rs 150 million to build an Old Delhi set in the city. He has also created an old Delhi mohalla with a Mahal, mainly because `Kalank` is set against the backdrop of the partition. Since the film is based on the partition of India held in 1947 the team has designed the sets keeping that particular period in mind. This is to recall that the movie is a dream project of Karan Johar`s father. So, Karan is very particular about  each everything in the movie.
