Short films now on OTT - STATION MASTER PHOOL KUMAR
Viewers during the COVID-19 lockdown have got addicted to consuming entertainment through digital media. So far, longer format such as web series and full-length feature films have been releasing on OTT platforms. But now Gorilla Shorts has introduced a new concept of short films inside a web series titled `Offbeats Season 1`. The first film in this series is `STATION MASTER PHOOL KUMAR`. The short film is a romantic comedy and stars television actor Namit Das in the titular role. Directed by award-winning filmmaker and ad-man Ambar Chakravarty. Popular Bollywood Playback singer Papon has also lent his voice for a unique Indo French romantic song called Dhokhadhari which is the title track of the film. The song `Dhokhadhari` is composed by Gaurav Chatterji and beautifully sung by Papon and Manon Gingold in French. The song takes a funny and romantic look at the life of a lonely station master who falls hopelessly in love with a Mysterious woman passenger. The music video of this original single showcases heartwarming scenes from the film and puts a smile on the face. The song begins with French singer Manon Gingold singing in French. It then continues to Papon`s melodious voice and enthrals the audience with its magic.
