Telugu film COMALI to premiere on Zee5 |
As the film industry is busy releasing films on the OTT platforms due to the shutdown of cinema halls, makers of even released films are relying on digital platforms. One such film is Jayam Ravi`s comedy film COMALI. COMALI is about Ravi who is involved in a road accident that leaves him in a coma for 16 years. Ravi wakes up in the house of his best friend Mani Yogi Babu, now married to his sister. He is unable to cope up with the changes around him and finds it difficult to adjust to the needs of the 21st century. Ravi embarks on a mission to identify his true self and his connection with his past love. Through Ravi`s character, debutant writer and director Pradeep Ranganathan tells us how the `80s and `90s life and relationships were far more simple and uncomplicated. Overall, COMALI is packaged as a jolly-feel-good entertainer, laced with emotions and nostalgia. The crackling onscreen bonding between Ravi and Yogi makes it enjoyable . The Telugu dubbed film will premiere on the 4th of December on ZEE5.
